Jha is an experienced nephrologist and transplant physician who has worked in various prestigious hospitals across the country expertising in general nephrology, dialysis and large volume renal transplants. Apart from having rich clinical experience he has also published in many peer reviewed national and international journals. He has keen interest in ABO incompatible and paired kidney exchange renal transplants. He has been a DNB teacher and also mentored at the International Society of Nephrology. He has been awarded the Fellowship of American Society of Nephrology and has also been the recipient of the prestigious Bansal Award Oration at the Indian Society of Nephrology and KN Udupa Award Oration at the Indian Society of Transplantation conferences.
