Dr. Saurabh Misra is a dedicated and highly experienced medical professional. He has been preforming Minimal Access surgery and has over 8000 independent laparoscopic surgeries to his credit which includes routine surgeries like laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomies and laparoscopic hernia surgeries with expertise in advanced hernia care including other advanced surgeries like laparoscopic weight loss procedures( Bariatric surgeries), laparoscopic spleen, adrenal, hepato-biliary, pancreatic and anti-reflux surgeries. He developed a new form of Laparoscopic surgery known as 'SMILS ' ( Single site Multi Incision Laparoscopic Surgery ), the paper in this regard was published in Journal of Minimal Access surgery in 2013. Further research in this field is under way.
