Dr Tushar Rege

Endocrinologist and General Surgeon Senior, Consultant with 35+ years of experience

Dr Tushar Rege is a well-known General Surgeon and Endocrinologist with an experience of over 35 years.

His areas of expertise are Diabetic Foot Surgery, General Surgery,  Diabetes Management, Breast Augmentation Surgery, Vaser Liposuction, Diabetic Ulcer Treatment, and Diet Counseling.

He completed his M.B.B.S. from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai in 1983, MS in General Surgery from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai in 1988 and MHUS from S.L Raheja Hospital (Fortis Associate) in 2013.

He served as both the Jt. Organising secretary and the secretary of the Dadar Medical Association, both of which were located in Mumbai in 2006. He is one of the first people to receive the MUHS Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery.

He is a member of the Medical Council of India (MCI), the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Maharastra Medical Council.

Professional Experience

At the JJ Hospital in Mumbai and the Yerala Medical College, Dr Rege has been instructing medical school graduates for almost ten years. He served as both the Jt. Organising secretary and the secretary of the Dadar Medical Association, both of which were located in Mumbai in 2006. He is one of the first people to receive the MUHS Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery.

He has played a key role in organising free diagnostic clinics and programmes on diabetic foot awareness through numerous organisations including the Rotarys, for the Mumbai Police and Raj Bhavan, as well as through many other Social organisations, through DFC India (DIABETIC FOOT CLINIC). As a rural project, DFC has also held free camps throughout the Konkan area.
