- She completed her MBBS from Govt Medical College, Patiala in 1999, DNB - General Medicine from SMS Medical College, Jaipur in 2003 and DM - Endocrinology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2008.
- She is the founder and President of FLAME( Forum of Ladies in Medicine) and also the founder of WE CARE( Women Endocrine Care). She is also the associate editor of Chronicles of Diabetes Research and Practice and DiaBeaTers India.
She also has been SCOPE Certified by the World Obesity Federation in 2021. - She has published several articles in national and international journals and often attends conferences and CMEs.
